hit it off (well) 是"很投缘"之意. I hit it off well with him.
或 He and I hit it off (well) together (with each other...

或 He and I hit it off (well) together (with each other). 是指(我和他非常投缘,我们很谈的来)之意. right含有"开始就...."之意.

end/wind up doing... 是"结果....."之意.
(今天逃课算了!)是用 I’m gonna miss/cut/ckip class today.
俚语也可以说 I’m gonna play hooky.

她上了大学后,一下子变得很时髦.
英语的 glamor 含有"妩媚,魅力"之意. (她看起来非常耀眼,)可以说
She looks too flashy. 或 Her outfit is a bit too much. (她的穿着太过分了.)

"难看"是 ugly/ugly-looking, 俚语也用 dog, 可用于男女.

confide...to..是"向...吐露.."; confide in... 则是"吐露秘密给..."的意思.能够吐露秘密或心事的朋友称为 confidant "密友,心腹".
I break off a relation. 跟她断交.
break off 是"分离,离开". patch up 原意为"补缀"之意,
此处是指"言归于好"的意思.

她真漂亮,但我打赌她已经有男朋友了.
此外, She’s a beauty/fox. 和 She’s so hot/cute. 等也是同样的意思.
I bet (that)... 是"我相信......"

和 Looks like something’s going one there. 相同.
be up to...是"从事于......,企图于....."之意.如:
What’s she up to? (她想做什么事?). 而 They can come
in the open. 是(他们可以大大方方的交往)之意.

love doing/to do...是"非常喜欢做....." hang out 是"徘徊".
而 I was just touching up my make up/powdering my nose
in the ladies room. 是(我刚在女用化妆室补妆)之意.

和他站在一起就使我意乱情迷.
lose one’s mind 是"失神,忘形"之意. have butterflies in one’s
stomach 是"意乱情迷",如: He gives me butterflies.
(我不禁微笑)则说 I just can’t keep from smiling.

太过分了! 情侣装!
Too much! 是(太过分!). matching 是"相配的".
Their clothes matches. 是(他们的衣服相配)之意.
outfit 是指"(全套)服装". Nice outfit! 是(好棒的打扮!).
56. I’d never try to woo someone with fine cars or gifts.
我决不会用香车和礼物来求婚.
woo...是"求爱,求婚"之意. 也可以用 try to win over a girl’s heart的说法. fine 是"豪华的". 想开玩笑说(他是我的司机)就说 He’s just my chauffer., 或 He’s just my wheels/transportation.
