获得PDU有以下五种方式，下面逐一介绍，为各位PMP做参考。
Category 1: Academic coursework/
PDUs may be earned by completing an academic course after PMP certification. Courses must be offered for degree credit and be related to project management.
1 College semester hour equals 15 PDUs
2. College credit hour (quarter system) equals 10 PDUs
第一类：院校的项目管理课程
取得PMP认证后，完成大学课程可以获得PDU。前提要求是与项目管理相关的学位课程。
1． 大学的学时相当于15个PDU
2． 大学的学分 (每季度) 相当于10个PDU
Category 2: Self-directed Learning or Professional Activities/
A maximum of 15 PDUs per CCR cycle can be earned through self-directed learning. A predetermined number of PDUs may be earned by participating in 8 specified kinds of professional activities.
第二类：自学或者专业活动
通过自学最多可以获得15个PDU，通过参加8种规定的专业活动可以获得特定的PDU。
Category 3: PMI REP Programs
PDUs may be earned by attending educational programs offered by
educational organizations registered with PMI and designated as PMI Registered Education Providers (R.E.P.s).
Examples include: Schools, consultants, corporate training departments, professional associations, government agencies, and PMI Chapters and SIGs. A database of R.E.P.s and the programs they offer is posted on the PMI website. Programs may be searched according to subject area, location, date and time.
第三类：注册教育提供者提供的培训
参加PMI注册教育提供者（包括学校、咨询公司、公司培训部门、行业协会或政府机构、PMI分会、特别利益组织）提供的相关培训可获得PDU。PMI网站公布了注册教育提供者的名单和培训课程。培训课程可以通过主题、地点、日期和时间来搜索。
Category 4: Non REP Programs/
PDUs may be earned by attending relevant educational programs offered by organizations not registered with PMI like Schools, consultants, corporate training departments, professional associations, or government agencies which is not registered as PMI’s REP
第四类：非PMI注册教育提供者提供的教育活动
参加非PMI注册教育提供者（包括学校、咨询公司、公司培训部门、行业协会或政府机构）提供的相关培训可获得PDU。
Category 5: Professional Service/
20 PDUs (max) may be earned by providing non-compensated project management services to non-employer or non-client customer groups
第五类：义务的专业服务
义务向除员工或客户以外的群体提供项目管理专业服务最多可获得20个PDU。
